FAQ

  • New clients to Core Club Perth will need to create an account with MINDBODY. You can do this on our website under ‘Book a Class’ or through the MINDBODY App (free to download via the App Store and Play Store). Clients will use the MINDBODY system for all bookings, purchases and account management.

  • Firstly, welcome to the club! We want to make sure that you feel comfortable no matter your ability. Our Reformer Foundations class is the best place to start if you are new to Pilates. This beginner level class focusses on building a strong foundation in your practice. Please know you’re always welcome to take everything at your own pace and exercises can be modified with ease. Move with your mood is our best advice!

  • Socks and a water bottle! We highly recommend grip socks for the reformers. Our very own grip socks are available to purchase in studio and we can charge directly to your MINDBODY account. Please ensure you are wearing appropriate exercise clothing, allowing you to move freely and comfortably

  • Yes, bookings are essential. Bookings can be made through MINDBODY or on our website.

  • Please arrive 10 minutes before your first class so you can meet your instructor for a quick rundown of the reformer, discuss any specific requirements of injuries and tour the studio.

  • If you cannot attend your class, please ensure your cancel at least 5 hours prior to the class start time. This must be done through MINDBODY. We do not accept cancellations made by phone, text, email, or social media.

  • If you cancel your class more than 5 hours prior to your class start time, you will not be charged a cancellation fee and you won’t lose your session.

Late cancellations will result in a loss of class that will automatically be deducted from your membership or packs.

If you do not show up to your booked class, you will lose your session and be charged a $10 no show fee.

All cancellations must be submitted via the MINDBODY app. Core Club Perth does not accept cancellations made by email, phone, text or social media

  • We offer a waitlist system when classes are full. You can add yourself to the waitlist through MINDBODY. You will be notified via automated email and/or text message up to 60 minutes before the class start time if you have been added to the class from the waitlist. You are required to confirm whether you will be attending. Failure to respond will result in the system assuming you will be attending the class.

  • Of course – we offer various types of monthly memberships. You can purchase these online through our website.

  • You may terminate your Membership by providing 14 days written notice to Core Club Perth by emailing info@coreclubperth.com.au. Your Membership will end in the then current billing cycle (14 days post email notice), and you will be charged for that billing cycle. More information can be found in our t&c’s.

  • You may suspend class packs and memberships by providing 7 days written notice to Core Club Perth via info@coreclubperth.com.au. If you require suspension for a medical reason or an injury, a medical certificate must be provided. More information can be found in our t&c’s.

  • We are qualified Pilates Instructors who are trained to modify exercises if a pre-existing injury exists, or if there are physical limitations. We are not qualified to make medical assessments or provide medical care, so if you have a pre-existing injury, we ask you to have a medical clearance from your health care provider before attending our classes.

Before the class begins, please approach your Pilates Instructor and disclose any pre-existing injuries, limitations or concerns you may have.

We welcome you to attend our group Pilates classes, but please keep in mind they are group classes, and should you require extra attention, a private 1:1 Reformer session may be better suited. We are more than happy to discuss options with you

  • Congratulations! If you’ve been cleared to exercise by a doctor, you can absolutely join our group classes.

Irrespective of how far you are along in your pregnancy, we ask you to contact us before you book a class. Your health and safety are our priority, so we kindly ask you to provide a clearance from your Doctor/OB or Physio, stating that you are medically fit to participate in an open group Pilates class. Medical clearances can be emailed to info@coreclubperth.com.au

As with injuries, a private 1:1 reformer session may be better suited. We are more than happy to discuss options with you.
